Marcelo Pinheiro
Project DirectorFounding partner of DirectBiz Consultants, with 30 years of solid experience in Direct Sales, having held executive and managerial positions in large companies, such as Natura & Co., Grupo Silvio Santos, where he was head of the commercial area of Jequiti Cosmetics over the first two years after the operation had started; and at “O Estado de S. Paulo”, an editorial group, where he has worked in the Sales and Marketing areas.
Pinheiro developed a successful career in Channel Marketing and Market Development, Strategic Planning and Executive Management. His broad experience in these areas and the general management of a bi-national company for five years enabled him to develop an entrepreneurial spirit that culminated in the creation of DirectBiz, in an innovative and unprecedented fashion at the time in the Brazilian Direct Selling segment.
Over more than twenty years at the helm of the consultancy’s management, he has created an exclusive work methodology, a preferential group culture on individuality and a rigorous goal of excellence. The market understood and adhered to this format and DirectBiz became a national reference, as a structured and specialized consultancy.
He holds a BA degree in Social Communication from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM/SP), specializing in Marketing, and attended numerous courses and congresses for professional improvement, which led him to another innovative and unprecedented movement in the sector, which was taking DirectBiz in the direction of the Omnichannel business, broadening the consultancy’s vision and ability to guide their clients in adopting convergent sales channels.
